2025年12月13日下午，孟加拉国拉杰沙希大学孔子学院揭牌仪式在孟加拉国首都达卡隆重举行。
中国驻孟加拉国特命全权大使姚文、孟加拉国大学拨款委员会主席赛义德·穆罕默德·阿布勒·法耶兹、中国驻孟加拉国大使馆文化参赞李少鹏、拉杰沙希大学校长萨勒赫·哈桑·纳其布、红河学院副校长陈继扬、孟加拉国有关大学领导及教师、当地企业代表、孟孔子学院（课堂）师生及其他各界社会人士等约200人出席本次揭牌仪式。
萨勒赫·哈桑·纳其布教授在致辞中表示，拉杰沙希大学孔子学院的揭牌是校际合作的新成果，将为师生提供中文学习与中孟学术文化交流的宝贵机会；期待未来与红河学院深化合作，让孔院成为优质中文教育中心与孟中友谊的象征。
陈继扬教授表示，拉杰沙希大学孔子学院的落成凝聚着中孟双方的心血与情谊，红河学院将与拉杰沙希大学携手，发挥自身优势，为孔院提供优质师资与资源，助力其开展中文教学和多元文化交流活动，搭建中孟人文交流与文化互鉴的桥梁。
赛义德·穆罕默德·阿布勒·法耶兹阁下表示，孟每年有不少学生赴华深造，中文已成为其求学创业的关键素养。孔子学院意义重大，它以教授中文、促进文化交流为核心，在孟落地的多所孔院及课堂，皆契合当地中文学习热潮，既提供中文教育与职业培训，又传播中国传统文化，为深化孟中各领域合作、助力孟发展作出了瞩目贡献。未来应持续深化孔院相关合作，让其成为推动孟中友谊的重要桥梁。
姚文大使表示，教育合作是中孟文明交流的重要纽带，两国千年交往中教育文化互动频繁。如今中孟教育合作已迈上新台阶，孟加拉国中文学习普及度提升、高校合作成果丰硕。拉杰沙希大学孔子学院揭牌是中孟教育合作新里程碑，依托两校优势，其必将成为中孟人文交流明珠，为深化两国友谊、促进文明互鉴添力。
在各方嘉宾的共同见证下，姚文、法耶兹、纳其布、陈继扬、乔杜里（南北大学校长）、哈克（山度·玛丽亚姆创新科技大学董事会主席）、韩鹍（孟中资企业协会会长）、高桂林（孟华侨华人联合会副会长）等共同为拉杰沙希孔子学院牌匾揭开红幕。
揭牌仪式现场氛围热烈。展现中国传统民俗魅力的舞狮表演，孔院与课堂教师及学生带来的武术、古筝、中孟传统舞蹈、中文歌曲演唱等文艺节目，生动展现了两国文化的交融之美，成为中孟人文交流的现场见证；茶艺品鉴、书法体验、中文图书阅览、扭扭棒等互动活动，更让参与者沉浸式感受中国文化的独特韵味。

The Unveiling Ceremony of the Confucius Institute at Rajshahi University was Held Successfully in Dhaka, Bangladesh
On the afternoon of December 13, 2025, a grand unveiling ceremony of the Confucius Institute at Rajshahi University was held in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, marking a new milestone in advancing the friendship and deeper cooperation between China and Bangladesh.
The ceremony was attended by Yao Wen, Ambassador of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of People's Republic of China to Bangladesh; Prof. Dr. Sayed Muhammed Abul Faiz, Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh; Mr. Li Shaopeng, Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of China in Bangladesh; Prof. Dr. Saleh Hasan Naqib, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Rajshahi; Chen Jiyang, Vice President of Honghe University; Mr. Han Kun, President of the Chinese Enterprises Association in Bangladesh; Mr. Gao Guilin, Vice President of the Overseas Chinese Association in Bangladesh; representatives from educational institutions, Chinese enterprises, Bangladeshi and Chinese media, teachers and students from the Confucius Institutes/Classrooms across Bangladesh, and Chinese students studying in Bangladesh — totaling around 200 participants.
Prof. Saleh Hasan Naqib stated in his remarks that the unveiling of the Confucius Institute at Rajshahi University is a new achievement in inter-university cooperation, which will provide teachers and students with valuable opportunities for Chinese language learning and China-Bangladesh academic and cultural exchanges. He looks forward to deepening cooperation with Honghe University in the future and making the Confucius Institute a high-quality Chinese language education center and a symbol of friendship between the two countries.
Prof. Chen Jiyang stated that the completion of the Confucius Institute at Rajshahi University embodies the painstaking efforts and friendship of both China and Bangladesh. Honghe University will join hands with the University of Rajshahi to provide high-quality teachers and resources for the Confucius institute, support it in carrying out Chinese language teaching and multicultural exchange activities, build a bridge for cultural mutual learning between China and Bangladesh, enable more people to experience the charm of the two countries' cultures, and consolidate the bond of people-to-people and cultural exchanges between China and Bangladesh.
Prof. Sayed Muhammed Abul Faiz noted many Bangladeshi students pursue further studies in China annually, and Chinese has become a key competency for their studies and entrepreneurship there. The Confucius Institute is of great significance, with teaching Chinese and boosting cultural exchanges as its core. The Confucius Institutes and Classrooms in Bangladesh align with the local enthusiasm for Chinese learning; they not only offer Chinese education and vocational training but also spread traditional Chinese culture, making remarkable contributions to deepening China-Bangladesh cooperation and supporting Bangladesh's development. He stressed that such cooperation should be further advanced to serve as a key bridge for China-Bangladesh friendship.
Ambassador Yao Wen remarked educational cooperation is a vital bond for cultural exchanges between China and Bangladesh, with frequent educational and cultural interactions throughout the two countries' thousand-year-long ties. Now, China-Bangladesh educational cooperation has reached a new stage, seeing growing popularity of Chinese language learning in Bangladesh and fruitful achievements in university collaborations. The unveiling of the Confucius Institute at Rajshahi University is a new milestone in this cooperation. Leveraging the strengths of the two universities, it will surely become a pearl of China-Bangladesh people-to-people exchanges, boosting bilateral friendship and facilitating civilizational mutual learning.
The ceremony featured a warm and festive atmosphere. The splendid cultural performances, including the lion dance, martial arts accompanied by Guzheng, traditional Chinese and Bangladeshi dances, and a Chinese song sung in Chinese presented by a Confucius Classroom student, along with Chinese cultural displays and interactive experiences such as calligraphy, tea art and exhibitions of Chinese books and language learning materials, vividly showcased the beauty of Chinese culture and the cultural integration between the two countries and served as a lively demonstration of China–Bangladesh people-to-people exchanges.
